Client Need/Driver

Macquarie Holdings USA Inc., by virtue of their office location in mid town Manhattan and a growing employee base needed more office space to house their operation. Their location is in a high rent district and to obtain more space would be very costly.

Solutions Implemented by ADEC Solutions USA

One solution they considered was to digitize records stored at that site to free up existing space for office use. Using a pilot approach to test this solution, the Human Resources Department digitized employee records. To Macquarie Holding's delight, the move not only freed up additional space, but it also did so at a fraction of the cost of leasing comparative space within the building they reside.

To extend this concept more broadly, ADEC was employed to imaging the remainder ofthe HR records so they could add more office space without increasing their leasing costs.

Benefits to Client

By far the biggest benefit to Macquarie Holdings USA Inc. is the valuable floor space for professional office use in lieu of paper records storage. Secondary benefits include improved information irretrievability, information sharing and workflow improvements to the HR department.
